Three states, two time zones, 6 flats and 651 miles later, Dan and I finished our section ride of the TransAmerica Bike Trail in Missoula, Montana.
Ranch and cabin
Rancher Naresh reporting for duty at a ranch in Polson, Montana. Loving the good, simple, joyous life. Time to get back to work to earn my dinner for the day!
Loving the cabin life, and even more the simpler lifestyle!
The Mission Mountains
A simple stroll turned into an amazing mountain run in the Mission Mountains. Spectacular trails and stunning fall colours all over. 21 miles in the bag. Time to hydrate and finish the day with some fine IPA.
Glacier National Park
I was about to leave Montana without visiting Glacier National Park. The October weather was gnarly, with snowstorms and rain, but heaven opened up one day before my departure. Though only 16 miles of the Going-to-the-Sun Road was open, I had no complaints.
A dream come true day! Glacier is so beautiful that I feel like I have been hit by a thunderbolt. Makes me want to move to Montana. Truly magical!
This view alone was totally worth the trip and the wait. Can’t wait to come back next year.
