Starting Day 25 with a heart full of joy and gratitude. Feeling so humbled and blessed to be waking up to beautiful sunrises like these, in one of the most spectacular countries.

Day 25 begins at Lake Tekapo.

The Church of the Good Shepherd! The most beautiful church in the world. Usually this place would be swarmed by tourists, with the car park full. It’s next to impossible to take a picture without someone in it. But the early bird gets the worm. After a long day of riding, I cowboy camped by the lake under the stars and woke up to this spectacular sunrise. A spectacular moment to just be, and to reflect on my journey so far and the people we are fighting for.

Lake Pukaki. Mt Cook is a bit shy and is hiding behind the clouds today. Awesome ride from Lake Tekapo, and a refreshing swim in Lake Pukaki to beat the heat.

Lake Pukaki.

The Canterbury region is putting Kindness and me to the absolute test. Three flats for the day. At least I get to change them with spectacular scenery.

Please. No more flats. Please. No more spares, and no patience to patch the old ones while surrounded by sandflies.

Flat number three.
