It’s love and kindness like this that keep me going.
A friend phoned Jo, knowing that I’d be going through Middlemarch. Jo and Viv, wonderful people I had never met, walked up the Otago Rail Trail and left a beer to surprise me and lift my spirits. They opened their doors for me and showered me with amazing kindness and love.
