Day 3: Hosur to Bengaluru, Karnataka

ChennaiHamburg

Can’t believe it’s my day 3 on the road. Still processing everything that happened since the flag-off. It was so humbling to have so many friends, some who travelled long distances, at the start.

Logged close to 280 km so far. Plenty of stops along the way, speaking in schools and organisations.

More good news! IRAN 🇮🇷 visa is approved. Just need to head to Mumbai and get my passport stamped. Such a relief now that the whole visa situation has been sorted. Thanks for your support and prayers!

Just about 8,220 km to go 😬

A welcome on the road.
Early days in Tamil Nadu.

Bye bye, Tamil Nadu! Hello Karnataka!

“Nivu ellige hoguttiddira?” (“Where are you going?” in Kannada), a man in a tuk-tuk hollered as I was entering.

Hosur to Bengaluru.

I’m going to Germany. Wanna join me?

We stopped for a sec for a chat, and after I explained the cause and mission, he wanted to ride ‘Kindness’. Lokesh is from Bengaluru and rides a tuk-tuk for a living.

We rode a good 6 km into Bengaluru from Hosur. Kindest, warmest welcome to Karnataka. Thanks to WCCG cyclists for accompanying me on this section.

Day 3 ended with 380 km in the bag. I’m going to be in the good care of Karnataka for the next couple of days!

Freedom Seat journey fuelled by kindness and coconut water.

Thank you, Imran.
