National Daughters Day

I had just spent the last few minutes hitting “like” on my friends’ posts about National Daughters Day, celebrating their amazing girls and all the joy they bring. And then, in the middle of it all, I looked down at the tiny human napping in my arms and realized… wait, I have a daughter!

How did I not realize? I’m part of this club now, and I get to celebrate this day too! Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you, and suddenly you’re living a dream you never even knew was coming.

Still wrapping my head around it, but loving every second. Feeling incredibly grateful for this new chapter with my little girl.

Here’s to all the daughters out there, from brand new to all grown up. You make the world brighter just by being in it.
