Day 69: The injury · Te Araroa

The going is getting slow even as my left foot is trying to recover from an injury that I sustained during a nasty fall while tramping muddy tussock terrain along the Two Thumb track. The challenge has definitely begun. Time to HTFU and keep moving.

Stunning view of the alps from the outhouse (shitter house) of Camp Stream Hut along the Two Thumb track of Te Araroa. Hard to do the job with the door closed, especially with a stunning view like this.
