I’ve had my earphones plugged in all day today. I’m not listening to music, but to the alerts I get when a donation is made. It’s been going all day.

When the going gets tough, that alert tone really encourages me to power through, knowing that you are all with me, supporting, cheering, praying and donating. Thank you, y’all!

Under 100 km to go.

Less than 100 km to the finish line, and less than $1,000 to reach our fundraising target. I had a quick chat with the anonymous kind heart, who is stoked about where we are and ready to write that cheque to match every donation ever made. Just $977 to go, and about 77 km to the finish line.

Thank you for all your donations, prayers, encouragement and support!

WE DID IT! Yes! We have reached our goal. Woohoo!

The goal.

I’m still a two-hour ride away for the day, but will you all have a drink for what we have accomplished, and post a pic holding your glass up high with a big smile?

Witnessed a spectacular sunset as Kindness and I rolled into Invercargill to complete Day 34 of Freedom Seat, for a total of 3,255.7 km. We have far exceeded our goal: we have raised over $20,500.

Rolling into Invercargill.

Just 34 km to Bluff and Stirling Point. Kindness and I are stoked to ride with Mayor Tim Shadbolt in the morning and finish at Stirling Point!
