Out of the Herekino and Raetea Forests. Te Araroa put us to a real test. Freezing cold, heavy downpour, knee-deep clay mud and insane downhills for 40+ miles. Covered in mud from head to toe. Had to be Tarzan in some sections, but my muddy hands didn’t offer enough grip and I landed hard.
Off to Omahuta Forest.
